Short answer

Mining, Fishing, Farming and Cooking are visible current progression systems. Mining is tied to ore collection in current gameplay, while current coverage also connects food and profession tasks to normal progress. Exact recipes, fish tables, farming yields, node maps, tool costs and stat-buff values are UNVERIFIED / HOLD.

The useful new-player order

  1. Mine when a quest route already passes a node or when a current upgrade needs a material.
  2. Learn where the live client exposes fishing and cooking before a quest makes them urgent.
  3. Read farming quest text for a tool requirement before looking for a crop.
  4. Spend a long profession grind only when it removes a real gear, food or quest blocker.

Troubleshooting matrix

You are stuck onCheck
MiningLive tool requirement, current inventory space and the upgrade screen’s actual material text
FishingActive quest wording and the nearby interaction prompt, not a copied fish location
FarmingWhether the quest requires a tool or a separate NPC interaction first
CookingIngredient / station prompt in the live client before consuming scarce resources

Why there is no per-item database

One thin page per fish, crop or ore would create more search URLs than useful verified information. A future database needs current item name, acquisition, tool requirement, location evidence, result and version check for every row. Until then, a practical system guide is more honest.

Combat connection

The official experience description lists weapons and equipment, and current coverage links mined material to weapon progression. That makes Mining worth a short detour when it serves your weapon plan. It does not prove every weapon upgrade, profession bonus or cooking effect.

Recheck trigger

This page expands only when a full current profession table can be independently checked. New recipes, tools, maps and buff values remain research items until then.
